CANCELLED
Sunday, September 21
Friends and neighbors,
It is with a heavy heart that I must announce the cancellation of today's Open House Meet-and-Greet, scheduled for 4:00 p.m. This was an incredibly hard decision, but after spending last night in the emergency room with my infant son, Harrison, due to both of us having Covid, I must put our health and recovery first.
I was so looking forward to seeing you all, hearing your stories, and discussing our shared vision for Bellevue's future. I deeply regret that I won't be able to connect with you today as planned. Please know that my commitment to this campaign and to our community remains as strong as ever, and I will continue working hard to earn your trust and your vote.
We are already planning future events and will reach out soon with new opportunities to connect. Please stay tuned for updates on how you can share your thoughts and ideas for our city.
I've always said this campaign is about what we can build together, and I truly cannot do this alone. In this moment, I humbly ask for your help in three key ways:
First, please help spread the positivity of our campaign and what we stand for: collaborative leadership, balanced growth, and a safer community for all.
Second, your financial support is crucial to help us continue sharing our message across Bellevue. Any contribution you can make will ensure our momentum continues strong.
Finally, please consider volunteering to talk to your neighbors by canvassing on behalf of the campaign. Your voice can carry our message to doors across the city.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the incredible outpouring of love and support our family and campaign have already received. It means the world to us.
With sincere gratitude,
Christina Giordani
